Section 1: The Education Course

The course consists of seven lessons:
1. Facts About U.S. Poison Centers
2. Facts About Potentially Harmful Substances (aka: poisons)
3. Common Poisonous Substances
4. Who is at Risk of Poisoning
5. How to Prevent Poisonings
6. What to do in Case of a Poisoning
7. Poison Prevention Education
Time Commitment
- The training course is designed so that you can complete the lessons at your own pace.
- Each lesson will take approximately 3-5 minutes.
- In order to progress to the next lesson, you must complete the full lesson and quiz.
- Lessons must be completed in the order they are presented.
- The entire course (without viewing the additional resource links) should take approximately 30-60 minutes to complete.
- Once you have completed all 7 lessons, quizzes and Course Satisfaction Survey, you will automatically be linked to the Resource Library where you can download/print your Certificate of Completion and/or order education, presentation and promotion materials. You will not be able to return to the lessons and quizzes. A copy of the whole course is available for download in the Resource Center.
